Meet Our Team

Wayne and Shirley Wisser started WCS in 1993. Plastic dot matrix ribbons were very expensive back then. We were able to reduce printing costs for our clients ( up to 70%) by removing the old ribbon and re-loading the cartridges with freshly inked ribbon. The customer was able to re-use his plastic cartridge, which kept the plastic out of the landfill and keep more money in his pocket. The Business now offers a complete suite of imaging products ( Laser, Ink Jet, Ribbon, Pcopy supplies & Printers ). We still reduce imaging costs, keep plastic out of the landfill and keep more money in our client's pocket. And yes, printer cartridges are still very expensive, unless, of course, you purchase them from us.

Elaina (Wayne' and Shirley's daughter) has worked in the business since childhood. She helped with marketing, manufacturing (refilling ink jets and cold fusing ribbon), sales and office management while growing up. The evolution of the Business saw her roles change as technology changed and Elaina saw the the impact that WCS had on profit margins of large and small businesses and how important it is to minimize waste in this industry. Elaina decided to resign from her job with Edmonton Public in 2022 to devote her time to a career with WCS. She is committed to providing the best care to her clients and helping them find the most cost and time efficient solutions for their imaging needs. Her main duties now include Client Services, Operations, Marketing, sales and social media. Elaina is an avid reader and writer with a knack for winning contests of all kinds. She and her husband Tom are the proud parents of Cian, a very busy and adorable 3 year old.

Meryll officially joined the Wisser family in 2015 as daughter-in-law to Wayne and Shirley. Meryll often operates the Business when W & S are on vacation. Meryll's other duties include Client Services, Operations, Marketing, Social Media, & Web Design. She is passionate about providing excellent service as well as products that are responsible and beneficial to both the customer as well as the environment. As the owner of her own business (along with running a household) Meryll is acutely aware of the importance of minimizing business expenses without sacrificing quality of product. When she's not working, you might find Meryll running in one of Edmonton's' beautiful trails - usually before dawn- and spending time with her young family.
